| Ozone Sun Protection Apparel, Inc. was founded in 2007 for the purpose of providing fashionable UV sun protection apparel that I would want to wear every day. Back in 2006, I was diagnosed with skin cancer, and was directed by my dermatologist to not only lather up with sunscreen, but also to always wear sun protective clothing. I know everyone thinks that a basic t-shirts will protect you. I know I did. But actually, a t-shirt alone does not provide you with the necessary protection. After a long search of finding clothing that was either too tight, too scratch or too dated, I decided to develop my own line. Ozone Apparel shirts have been treated with a special chemical to provide extra protection from the sun just like sunscreen.
So, here I am 2 years later and I am excited to offer the softest, most fashionable styles that actually protect you from the sun. All of my shirts have been tested at the International UV Protection Testing facility and given a rating of 50+ UPF. My shirts will keep this rating up to 40 washes which equates to 2 years of wear.
Now, I am adding two great fabrications to the Ozone family. First, is another amazingly soft collection of protective clothing that is made of recycled PET, the stuff plastic bottles are made from. So now, you can protect your skin and the environment! Also, don’t forget to check out our “organic styles” too!

I love these shirts because they have an awesome fit, are super soft and will protect you from the harmful effects of the sun…and now we are doing our part to help the environment too.
